Meggy's Email Agent watches your inbox the way a great assistant would. It reads every incoming message, figures out what matters, and takes action — flagging the urgent stuff, drafting replies, and quietly archiving the noise. All of this happens privately on your computer, not in someone else's cloud.
The agent connects to your email account using standard IMAP (for reading) and SMTP (for sending). Built-in presets handle the configuration for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and iCloud — just enter your email address and an app-specific password, and you're connected. The agent monitors your inbox in real time, processing new messages as they arrive.
You choose how autonomous you want the agent to be:

Every inbound email passes through a security guard before the agent sees it. This guard scans for prompt injection attacks (someone trying to trick the AI via email content), strips dangerous HTML elements, and removes hidden zero-width characters. Emails with high threat scores are silently dropped — the agent never processes them.
Beyond reading and replying, the agent comes with six specialized tools:
